Writing Work

When I arrived at Liberty University, I quickly discovered the joy I find in telling stories through print. I've had the privilege to cover countless games and athletic events as the sports editor at the Liberty Champion. Beyond that, however, I've been fortunate enough to be trusted with the stories of athletes and tell others about their journeys. 

I've also written numerous articles for nbcsports.com, ranging from SEO pieces to feature articles. 

Each week of the fall and spring semester, I work on creating and executing layouts for the sports section of the Liberty Champion, utilizing Adobe InDesign. I work in collaboration with our lead designer, Avery Veenstra, to craft engaging pages that both showcase and promote the written work seen on the pages. See below for one of our full sports issues!
