Writing Work

When I arrived at Liberty University, I quickly discovered the joy I find in telling stories through print. I've had the privilege to cover countless games and athletic events as the sports editor at the Liberty Champion. I've also been fortunate enough to be trusted with the stories of athletes and communicate their journeys to others through feature pieces. 


I've thoroughly enjoyed writing articles for my 49ers website — 49ers247.com — as well as contributing pieces to NBC Sports' digital platforms.

Each week of the fall and spring semester, I work on creating and executing layouts for the sports section of the Liberty Champion, utilizing Adobe InDesign. I work in collaboration with our lead designer, Avery Veenstra, to craft engaging pages that both showcase and promote the written work seen on the pages.
